Breakfast fundraiser: In conjunction with the San Diego Blood Bank blood drive, St. Michael’s Knights of Columbus are holding a breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 in the Holy Family Center, 15410 Pomerado Road in Poway. There will be eggs and pancakes cooked to order, omelets, bacon, cinnamon rolls and more. Tickets are $50 for families (two adults and immediate children), $20 for adults and teens, $15 for seniors (62-plus), $10 for children (ages 5-12) and free for blood donors and children under age 5. Horse show: Poway Valley Riders Association is presenting a working equitation show starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 in the PVRA grounds, 14336 Tierra Bonita Road.
