Pacific Beach children will be running around searching for eggs when the Pacific Beach Recreation Center hosts its annual Spring Egg Hunt from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5.

The free festivities will include a bounce house, arts and crafts, face painting, games and other activities. But the event’s highlight will be the egg hunt.

There will be three hunts. Children up to age 3 will start their search for eggs at 9:30 a.m., followed by the ages 4 to 7 hunt at 10 a.m. and the ages 8 to 11 hunt at 10:30 a.m. Participants are advised to bring a basket for their goodies.

The Pacific Beach Recreation Center is at 1405 Diamond Street. For details, call 858-581-9927.
