Could one of the next islanders on the hit Peacock series “Love Island USA” be from San Diego?
The popular franchise is bringing a casting call event to San Diego this summer. Fans can experience the colorful look and feel of the show at “Love Island USA Pop-Up Villa: Casting Tour” on June 28.
The event will arrive on the heels of the debut of the show’s seventh season, which just announced its cast.

What is “Love Island USA?”
The show, which also has iterations around the world in places like the United Kingdom and Australia, puts together a group of attractive young single people in a villa with hopes of finding love. Islanders “couple up” in pairs or get “dumped” if they’re left alone after a “re-coupling.” New islanders arrive to mix things up and there are various challenges and twists along the way. The public can also vote on an app for their favorite contestants and couples.
Season seven of the series premieres Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Peacock.
What is this local event?
The Love Island villa vibes are going on tour to multiple locations in the U.S. this summer. At the event, locals can record a casting tape to be submitted for their chance at becoming an islander. There will also be photo opportunities that are inspired by the show and pop-up vendors such as Maybelline and CeraVe. Fans can expect some giveaways and samples while supplies last.
Where and when will the pop-up take place?
