Hundreds of La Jolla High School seniors are now officially graduates.
La Jolla High held its 2025 commencement ceremony for 280 seniors May 29 at the school’s Gene Edwards Stadium with remarks from school leaders and students Olivia Smith, Sophia Ramirez, Emma Weibel and Sarah Robinson.
Principal Chuck Podhorsky applauded the graduates, who began high school during the COVID-19 pandemic, for not being defined by what has happened to them but rather how they responded to adversity. ♦
