Rancho Santa Fe resident Laurnie Durisoe hosted a Patrons of the Prado “Pop the Cork” event at her and her husband Tom’s home on June 8. The event, which provided the opportunity to celebrate the elements of nature and featured an afternoon of wine and light refreshments, asked attendees to donate a bottle of fine wine or champagne to be sold at the 2025 “MASTERPIECE: Elegance of the Elements” fundraising event to be held on Aug. 9 at the San Diego Natural History Museum in Balboa Park. Monetary donations were also welcome.

The Patrons Fine Wine Opportunity Drawing at the event will raise funds to the Patrons of the Prado’s mission “to benefit arts, sciences, and cultural centers on the Prado in Balboa Park, and for programs that provide educational access for San Diego County, K-12 school children to the world-class treasures of Balboa Park, inspiring cultural fluency for future generations,” the Patrons website stated.Visit www.patronsoftheprado.org for more information.
